There is no person you wouldn’t love if you knew their story. This is one of my guiding principles in life, especially in my work as a counselor. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, laid-back environment where you can share your story and find ways to heal and attain change. I believe that clients make significant change when they understand what led to the development of their problems and the factors that maintain current symptoms. Together we will address unhelpful thought patterns developed in your past and present behaviors to create sustainable strategies and hope for the future. I work from a trauma informed perspective, and often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients meet their goals.
